Refund policy

If you are considering the return or exchange of an item please reach out to the Elves at elfsupport@saboothroyd.com so we can assist you with the process.

RETURNS

To be eligible for a store credit or refund the returned item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in.

Please note that the customer is responsible for paying all return shipping fees. We suggest that you ship the item back via a tracked shipping method to ensure it is received by us. If you ship without a tracking number and we do not receive the return, we cannot issue refunds on items that have not been received back. 

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, we will issue you a store credit or refund for the product total plus taxes (shipping costs are non-refundable). Refunds will automatically be applied to the credit card or original method of payment. It may take 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account or on your credit card. 

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are approved for a refund, the original cost of shipping will not be refunded.

Only items purchased within the last 30 days are eligible for a refund or store credit.

Custom art works, gift cards, seasonal merchandise, and sale or promotional items are exempt from being returned.

International orders that are returned due to a refusal to pay customs, duty, taxes, or handling fees or incorrect addresses will not be refunded unless prior approval has been received. 

EXCHANGES

We can sometimes accommodate item exchanges. Please send the Elves an email at elfsupport@saboothroyd.com explaining why you require an exchange and we'll see what we can figure out.

Please note that customers are responsible for shipping the item to be exchanged back to us. We suggest that you ship the item back via a tracked shipping method to ensure it is received by us. If you ship without a tracking number and we do not receive the item to be exchanged, we will not be able to complete the exchange process for you. We will cover the cost of shipping the new item back to you.

Sale and promotional items are not eligible for exchanges.

RETURNS ON GIFTS

All refunds on gift items are made against the original transaction and form of payment. Gift wrapping costs are non-refundable.

FINAL SALE

Any sale or promotionally priced items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. 

DAMAGED PRODUCT

In the event your order has arrived damaged, please reach out to the Elves at elfsupport@saboothroyd.com.

Any damages must be reported within 7 days of your shipment being received for a store credit or refund to be considered.

INCORRECT ADDRESS

We use the shipping address provided during checkout to ship all orders. If an incorrect address is provided, we will try our best to help coordinate getting the package back. The customer will be responsible for paying any additional shipping costs, as we'll need to re-label the package. While most packages make their way back to us (although this may take some time), it is possible that packages sent to the wrong address may be lost for good. We are unable to replace packages lost as a result of an incorrect address.

In the event that the Elves have made a mistake with the address during the fulfillment process, we will absolutely figure out a way to make it right.  We will replace items if we still have the product in stock, work with you to figure out replacement items, or offer a refund.   

FULFILLMENT MISTAKES

If the Elves have made a mistake and sent you the wrong item, please let us know and we will figure out a way to make it right. We will replace items if we still have the product in stock, work with you to figure out replacement items, or offer a refund.  

Fulfillment mistakes made that result in the shipment of incorrect products to you will absolutely be accepted for return. We will cover all shipping costs for you to return the incorrect items, as well as to mail out your replacement items.
