This whimsical tea towel looks great hanging on my oven door, and makes me smile when I see it. We have three retrievers in our family so sticks abound!

Although the bicycle towel came through the wash fine, this one, which I loved at first sight, had the red colour run and fade terribly upon washing. Setting the colours with a strong vinegar rinse before use may have helped, but I will never know.

I bought both the bicycle and the end of the long dash tea towels. I washed both before using. The bicycle one washed up fine. The red colour on the CBC one ran, and turned the tea towel a very light pink, and the original red is mottled and faded. That was a disappointment, as it was the one I really wanted. Perhaps a good vinegar soak before washing would have helped, and perhaps this would be a good idea to include with the towels.

What a great tribute to the CBC National Time Signal . . .Such a true part of CBC. The artwork on the towel is perfect! So many have been listening when the time came for the National Time Signal . . And I bet we have all watched out clocks and watches to see if they were in sync! So many were sad to see it gone . . And this towel will be a daily reminder of CBC History! Not to mention a very thoughtful handwritten note along with the towel saying how we all will miss the time signal!
